Patrick Star is a starfish who happens to be SpongeBob's best friend. He is also dumb and likes to do nothing. Patrick, (along with SpongeBob) likes to annoy Squidward. In a few episodes, Patrick got hired by Mr. Krabs, but he stated in "SpongeBob You're Fired" that he likes to be unemployed.
